For over 100 years, MRS Training & Rescue (formerly known as Mines Rescue Service), has developed specialist skills, experience and knowledge gained from working in difficult and potentially dangerous environments, to effect the rescue and escape of mine workers from underground.
Training and assessing customers’ employees to safely enter, work and exit from confined spaces, is offered at all of their seven training centres, and can also be delivered at customers’ premises by using their mobile rigs. They have been involved with industry in developing the National Occupational Standards, and all the confined space suite of qualifications awarded by City & Guilds are available at their accredited training centres.
CCTV System Upgrade
Eclipse (IP) Ltd were requested to look at upgrading the aged CCTV system fitted at the Scotland branch for MRS Training & Rescue based in Crossgates, Fife. Utilising a lot of the existing infra-structure, Eclipse were able to upgrade the system to a full HD CCTV system giving excellent images, whilst keeping costs down.
The difference in image quality between our old system and the new CCTV system is vast. The Eclipse engineers were professional at all times working safely and minimising disruption. – Errol Parrish, Operations Manager.
